ARVOR-C is a pressure-resistant float developed for coastal area observation, capable of operating at depths of 300 meters and equipped with Iridium communication.
ARVOR-C is a coastal observation float designed to withstand pressures of up to 300 meters. It comes standard with a Sea Bird CTD sensor, capable of measuring water temperature, salinity, and pressure. Various data is collected via Iridium communication (SBD). By allowing it to settle on the seabed during descent, it becomes less affected by tidal currents, enabling long-term observations without drifting far from the deployment area.
